X has fallen

Getting tired of culture war shit. There seems to be no sensible center anymore, its either left wing screeching about rich people and trans rights. Or its right wingers saying all blacks are evil and we should just send them all back.

I'll repeat, that there is no center anymore. No sensible discussion on race or immigration and nothing balanced about Trans issues. Its just extremes.

What did this for me is following an anti labour group on the Twatter, where I should have just vetted them first. They are the worst kind of small party UKIPper lite, and have the most fucked takes on race.

Rarely for the UK they pretty much seem to be full on godshagger mode that I'd expect from the Christian homeschooler crowd. Where there are plenty on Muslims and that you sometimes get posts about burning churches and the like. This is from a culture that pretty much sums up church going as if you ain't getting married, buried or christened then fuck off.

I've talked about the loony right here, but the loony left is no better. All placard cunts, immigrants welcome, kill TERFS and smash the Tories, And peak for this is Jeremy Corbyn would have been an excellent leader, despite being a commie weirdo and Hamas shill.

The sensible middle for this goes something like this. And can be thought of as my ideals.

Not everyone is welcome, Not everyone is a scrounger, face persecution that we can prove and you can stay, be a productive member of society and more importantly, integrate into your community.

Be a criminal and you will be jailed in your country of origin.

The  Trans shit is pretty easy too. I don't care. So long as you do not push it on children / autistics and transition with genuine dysphoria as an adult. All I ask is for you to pass, and not be an insufferable cunt. I consider it to be a third identity i.e. Trans as a gender in its own right rather than usurp the original sex. And if you do, don't change the language to something cringe like birthing person or call it a bonus hole (surely a ringpiece euphemism at best).

History month

I know this is going to get all the idiots out of the woodwork. Especially those with low reading comprehension. But just hear me out. I don't think black history month should be a universal holiday.

I know what sparked this off in the first place, watching or rather listening to a video by Just Some Guy on Youtube. Covering the comic March, about the civil rights movement in America, essentially Black Americas long march from segregation and racism to acceptance via MLK, Rosa Parks and other Black leaders. It struck me, in the UK we don't have this baggage. It's not that there weren't racists growing up or that they didn't face bad stuff. We didn't segregate people or schools nor have Jim Crow laws or lynching people for spurious crimes.

Which brings me to the main point of it all, what I took away from this is. Our Black history is mostly post war with limited immigration of Africans (Sailors and Mercs mainly) in previous centuries. It didn't amount to many people, whereas we do have quite a large debt to the orient. East India companies exploring India, China, Hong Kong and Malaysia. The Raj and such, why do we need a black history month when they impacted on us so little, when South Asia and the Far east cast a long shadow on UK history.

Even worse is other countries adopting this, does a black history month make sense in Africa or where the reach of the Black diaspora hardly set foot, if at all. I still say its important for America to remember what they did and not repeat the same mistakes. But for the rest of us maybe its time to broaden that definition on who counts as black.

Non white history month anyone.

Hate and more hate

There is a certain demographic of people that you can hate these days, with  no comeback whatsoever. Call them names, and class them as less than human and no its not any oppressed minority you'd usually suspect.

I'm talking about the working class white male. Most certainly Brexit voting, overweight with tattoos and a big England flag outside their house. They're fair game for the sort of middle class liberal Twitter limpets who post bollocks 24/7 to their feeds.

They are the sort of folk they look down on. You can call them knuckle dragging, gammons and there's no comeback. They're not a minority but they should be.

I'm reading up about the anti statue protests up town. It's a mix of the far right, football thugs, patriots, white van man and dare I say it, concerned ordinary working class blokes who decided to protest in London against the far left hysteria.  Of course it all kicked off with the police and that, but the same happened with the BLM marches last week, and they were never branded as such.

To be honest, I hate both sides, The left being vandals and never being called out on their shit, the far right for being violent thugs as mentioned. They make it worse for the centrists such as myself and if you think its some Youtube alt right spiral, well I've held these views since the mid 90's. It's nothing new and in 30 years time will still be going on just with no push back on far left ideas as they take the piss out of the far right (and rightly so.)

Anyway you'll be wanting something to cheer yourself up, after that. I found an old clip on the end of a Bruce Lee tape of the One O'clock news, with a young Michael Buerk reporting on a microlight journey from the UK to Australia.

A brief bit of searching on line I found what it referenced, here. Its a link to the MAAS museum in Sydney who have the actual microlight as an exhibit. The bloke doing it was an ex journalist and went around the world in a microlight back in 1998. So this is a bit of a dry run for him.

Stella Creasy and the Golden Shower

God knows who this will bring in, for the curious, though, this is two different topics, none of them relate to any extreme sex acts.  TLDR we saw an MP and found some obscure indie in a charity shop that is all.

We went to Walthamstow, again for the first time after their devastating fire that damaged the mall. Indeed six weeks on and one side of shops has been completely damaged including WH Smiths, which has closed for good it seems.

We saw the local MP, Stella Creasy, holding an local surgery, in the place that's normally reserved for the stalls selling chinese toys and paintball experiences. I can only imagine that her regular meeting room was damaged by the fire.  It's quite a come down.

She reminded me a lot of an old boss of mine, also blonde, and she also came across as faintly wet and useless, too. I don't normally see "celebrities" apart from Girls Allowed at Oxford Street HMV, and Bill Oddie, that is the extent of my celeb meeting. My parents have seen Boris Johnson out the front of Wimbledon tube, kinda puts my influence into a cocked hat.

Anyway if you're here for the whole golden shower bit. We picked up a bunch of records from the Sue Ryder shop. Including this, weird record.

It's either T.G.S. the golden shower or that is both the name and the record label. It turns out its the sort of indie rock that sounds a little bit like the Farm or The Happy Mondays. Basically that whole era of guitar dance crossover from the early 90's that is long gone now.

Spent a good deal of time trying to find out anything about it, all the searches I put in, came back as german porn (i.e. piss fetish stuff, not really my scene to be honest.) Same with Vibe Tribe management, and the ambiguous names created as well as Drive Fever / Freaks demo the names of the tracks.  Putting QPR won't help either as I'll just get results back for Queens Park Rangers football club.

Best I can do is put a draft up in discogs, and a video up on my alt channel on Youtube to see if anyone has any ideas.

Wouldn't Even Explain you.

Forgive me for being late to this particular party. but here is my take on a few things basically Sargon related. In particular its the supposed joke / comeback to MP Jess Phillips that I need to address and matters arising from such.

Cards on the table first. I have been a subscriber to Sargon's Channel since gamergate, the popular uprising against corrupt game journalists, along with Thunderf00t and Mr Metokur/ Internet Aristocrat.  Possibly two of his biggest detractors.  My politics are centre right. Think the 2011 election in the UK lib dem power sharing but with acutal likeable people in charge, that's basically my politics, in a nutshell.

The joke?

I kinda like the actual joke, even if it's not funny in the first place.  The context is that Sargon hates Jess Phillips because of her laughing at Male Suicide numbers in a parliamentary debate. The wouldn't even rape you remark is part of a twitter spat between the two, which this culminated in him being kicked off Twitter for good (and previously banned for posting interracial gay pr0n on an exchange with the alt right.)

Its a pretty savage comeback and it ranks as one of the better insults I've heard, if not particularly funny.  My take on it, is this. I read this as an act beneath him to do. As a woman he wouldn't rape her because she wasn't worth it. She's so utterly below him as a person, that he wouldn't carry it out. And apparently I'm wrong. Sorta.

Its more like, I wouldn't rape you because its abhorrent, (and rape is, if you're wondering.) and that although if the opportunity arose, then he still wouldn't.  Maybe it's both, maybe it's neither I just wanted to do my take on this joke.

Fallout.

Of course when the whole UKIP MEP candidacy arose, the press had a field day, dragging up these tweets and bringing it into the open and totally misrepresenting his word, by calling them rape threats. They're not, by the way. It's a statement of  disintent rather than intent. And proves my point that modern news publishing is a joke. And it went full circle with him adding that he would consider it, but there wasn't enough beer in world for him to contemplate it.

The final evolution of the whole thing is a spot on Have I Got News For you a previously funny show, that I gave up watching a few years back. With the never funny Jo Brand as guest host, and Jess Phillips as a contestant, calling him a neckbeard and laughing at him getting milkshaked by left wing incels at a  UJKIP rally.

Summary

I still don't find it funny, most internet drama isn't, and while I rate it as a top drawer insult and comeback, it's not really humorous as such. Those describing it as a joke or as comedy then please don't, Sargon: A. isn't a comedian and B, its an insult, an aside, a come back and should be treated as such.
