Hate and more hate

There is a certain demographic of people that you can hate these days, with  no comeback whatsoever. Call them names, and class them as less than human and no its not any oppressed minority you'd usually suspect.

I'm talking about the working class white male. Most certainly Brexit voting, overweight with tattoos and a big England flag outside their house. They're fair game for the sort of middle class liberal Twitter limpets who post bollocks 24/7 to their feeds. 

They are the sort of folk they look down on. You can call them knuckle dragging, gammons and there's no comeback. They're not a minority but they should be. 

I'm reading up about the anti statue protests up town. It's a mix of the far right, football thugs, patriots, white van man and dare I say it, concerned ordinary working class blokes who decided to protest in London against the far left hysteria.  Of course it all kicked off with the police and that, but the same happened with the BLM marches last week, and they were never branded as such.

To be honest, I hate both sides, The left being vandals and never being called out on their shit, the far right for being violent thugs as mentioned. They make it worse for the centrists such as myself and if you think its some Youtube alt right spiral, well I've held these views since the mid 90's. It's nothing new and in 30 years time will still be going on just with no push back on far left ideas as they take the piss out of the far right (and rightly so.)

Anyway you'll be wanting something to cheer yourself up, after that. I found an old clip on the end of a Bruce Lee tape of the One O'clock news, with a young Michael Buerk reporting on a microlight journey from the UK to Australia. 

A brief bit of searching on line I found what it referenced, here. Its a link to the MAAS museum in Sydney who have the actual microlight as an exhibit. The bloke doing it was an ex journalist and went around the world in a microlight back in 1998. So this is a bit of a dry run for him.

God emperor Trump is now president and everyone is losing their shit and virtue signalling like a bastard.  We get it he's a dunce, a blowhard, a jerkwad and a boor.  He sad bad things about wimmins and immigrants, and wants to make America Grate Again.  To be honest I don't even like the guy and I'm siding with him simply for all the weirdos and anti fascist pillocks that seem to be against him.

The worst thing is that I genuinely hate the racists as well, they aren't my kind of people. Even though the worst thing is that there is no outraged middle ground.  Maybe a Father Ted style down with this sort of thing would do.
The moaning goes on and on about the inauguration, about the crowds, about the policies.  I fully expected a jug band or an old man playing the spoons on the actual day instead we have a clip of him singing my way with Melania.

Twitter, that big salt mine online is particularly insufferable, with every virtue signalling bastard squeaking their brains about the inauguration.  So much so its almost painful to wade through each and every bastard post on it and that's both sides of the political divide as well.

In brighter news I've came across my first ever videogame Atheist, in Dungeon Traveler 2.  We finally cleared the Piertan tower dungeon and have rocked up at a church out of town.  There is a small girl in the bushes called Lize.  She outright mocks the benevolent god and donation spiel of her older sister Fiora and says out right that there really isn't a god.  Having a look she seems to be a playable character which means she could be an asset to the team.  I'm guessing Spieler class as she carries around a stuffed penguin.

More worryingly she's 12 and as everyone has some semi nude artwork of them here, this has to potential to be super creepy. 

Edit, yup proper bent ref territory, guess this was one of the censored ones Atlus did.

Bank Holiday Round Up.

Hello and welcome, the more observant of you may have seen a new hero added to the sidebar. It is the Chris Lyons Video Cassette AKA Chriddof who does those Daz 3D animations of stuff.  He's know for deleting stuff wholesale due to ''teh anxiety'' so how long this will be up is anyone's guess so enjoy while it lasts.

Syro. Bonkers.

Its largely all over the net now and really should be up on Robots Nunca Vista my sadly neglected side blog, but there is a new Aphex Twin album coming soon.  Its called Syro and I learned this through a Dark net link via his official Richard David James page on Facebook.

Fucking A

The link itself is a strange one, its apparently gives you a tracklisting if you use TOR and nothing but a rundown of your plugins, processes and location if you use a normal browser.  This can be limited if you use No Scripts but its still pretty worrying.

There is now information up for preordering at bleep.com and a full tracklisting and a massive array of download options and physical media for idiots like myself including an ultra limited edition version of 200 for £250 (*w*) as well as a more sane £9.99 for a CD edition.  Its out on the 22/9/2014 so I will definitely be booking the day. 

Finally do you want to see a Japanese island populated just by cats, its called Tashirojima and is located off the coast of Sendai, which you may remember from 2011's devastating Tohoku quake.  There is a shrine called Nekojinja at its heart which sounds like Neko Ginger in English (a breed of cat). I'll try and dig up some videos tomorrow.

EDIT was going to do something about Ferguson but it just seems to be the London riots of 2011 with bonus racism and disinformation thrown in.

Just in case you didn't know or were living under a rock for the past week.  We've had riots in Lagos  London.

Far be it for me to offer any kind of comment (it'll only unbelieveably knee jerk) or provide insight into the why (disenfranchised youth, of either spectrum of class, Gangsta rap culture (you never hear rap about mental illness or spending your life trapped inside giant mechanical dogs or for that matter Sunn 0)) and wanting it all with little or no work ethic, qualifications or motivation to improve their lot in life.

Instead I'll simply blog my non involvement in the whole scheme of things.  For someone who is never out we were actually supremely unlucky to be out on the one night where I should have stayed in.
Our cactus club down at Well Hall held a talk on the Monday that the riots really started to fan out.  We should have clocked something was up when the bus driver said that he would not be driving through Lewisham and watching a load of white kids in hoodies mill around the bus stop at the top of Well hall hill.   But we simply didn't catch on and got to where we wanted to go without much trouble.  After a relaxing show and tell session we bowled out at 10pm ready to take the bus home.

The bus was late and we walked to the stop where Stephen Lawrence was killed to maximise our chances of getting home (you can get a 161 as well as a 122). When we finally got a bus the driver informed us that due to rioting in Woolwich they will be detouring out to Welling before heading back to Plumstead.  We didn't mind this we can walk home from Welling and did so seeing hardly anyone out.  (OK so its not very exciting, i'm hardly likely to burn down withies am I.)

Come Tuesday and we are allowed home early from work due to percieved trouble.  We see more groups of white kids in hoodies and an awful lot of rumours.  Gangs spotted down at Abbeywood, shops closing early and shuttered up just like when you drop a rock into a rock pool all the creatures hide untill its safe to emerge.

Come Friday and we have the day off we can go down to Woolwich and see whats really been done and whats survived.  Ironically its all the usual suspects, all the phone shops have been smashed in except 3 (gee looks like the average scum doesn't want all you can eat data).  Both Game and Gamesation have been looted and Wetherspoons and Wilkinsons have been torched, extending to the Pound shop and Barclays next door.  Finally Mc Donalds has been broken into too along with C(r)ash converters.

Some shops were totally untouched, Sainsburys and WHSmiths and even Poundland made it through  unscathed, and Brighthouse made it without being looted.  I still have no answers why it all kicked off, but you can watch thugs vs a thin blue line of cops on Youtube.
