You know the deal, everything through the lens of race, and "The Jews tm" can be blamed for every life's problem. The left of course will do the exact same thing but couch it as anti Zionism and add rich people as all life's ills. Honestly as a Lib, its tiring.
As a Brit watching them go from Reform to Restore to Shift Run/Stop. I got a hit of instant clarity. This is just the old not real socialism / communism but from a right leaning lens. It's not real fascism bro, and when x party gets in they'll kick out the "forrins" and we'll have a golden age.
Guess what people there is no golden age. Farage won't win though I predict Reform might do a Lib Dem and win a few councils in local elections but tank in a General. They are getting a few hard right Tories in which is causing many of the aforementioned far right to switch to Restore.
TBH I do agree with some of the aims of Restore, but as someone who had the actual Far right on their doorstep for most of his life. I will say this. You'll struggle. Even when we had the BNP HQ literally up the road from us, they came a distant third in every election, not enough to lose their deposit but also so far back as to be not even a minor threat to the status quo. Trust me Restore aren't going to win much.
Don't get me wrong I also think a few of the Green policies are also good (porno and free speech, and that's about it). That doesn't mean I'm going to chuck my hat in the ring and follow Titty Dave's Green Commie party.
On a happier note its seems that Ian Huntley has died. I always used to comment that it looked like he used to beat his head in railway sleepers to get it looking so flat. I seems that someone took it to heart, while in jail.
