Year end round up. Missed and flipped edition.

Or all the stuff I couldn't remember the last time. TV first. Over Christmas we have a few good bits. A new All Creatures Great and Small and a Wallace and Gromit feature film with the return of Feathers McGraw. Oh and am I the only one who thought the Indian cop and the old cop with the moustache was a direct call back to The Thin Blue Line. Probably just me. Oh and they reran Mog's Christmas which I sincerely hope you watch. Best film of the year is The Beekeeper, a nice take on the Indian call centre where a guy goes on a rampage when his friend is defrauded out of cash. A good study in revenge along with Falling Down. A lot of the people I usually watch on YT have pivoted in directions opposite to me. Whether it be Darkmatter 2525 being quite left wing where I'm a strict centrist or Ya boi Zack going against the whole reviewbro community. He still puts out a few good stuff on the Autistic Lesbian trans writers clogging up comics writing, which I'm glad he still does. It's kinda put me off the Critical Drinker. No my favourite thing I've found this year, is a reevaluation of Brianna Wu. Someone I'd previously added to the bad side of Gamergate only to find she is persona non grata in the trans community for daring to say you need actual dysphoria to be trans instead of a fetish and self ID. As an autist I can agree with this, cos trust me, you don't belong nowhere. Gaming Recently got an XBonio 1 (X Box one) working and am having a blast playing Elite Dangerous. Replete with my half assed attempts to dock and stuff. Not got in any combat situation yet (true fact, got pulled out of frame shift by a pirate who had the temerity to say get better stuff before shooting off). Oh and this is definitely a game where you do the tutorials over and over again before shooting out for space. Will have to perfect my landing, wish this had save slots like in Frontier so you can blast off from a star port where you haven't screwed up.
